This tour through the heart

Brunello di Montalcino.
First you are off to the
beautiful estate of Altesino. Enjoy a guided tour of the cellars and admire
the views of the vineyards and the hill top town of Montalcino before a
guided tasting of four of their spectacular wines including a Brunello and
a Super Tuscan.
You will also be able to
taste the olive oil produced at the estate. After your wine tasting take
time to stroll the ancient streets of Montalcino before being treated to a
Tuscan lunch at Fattoria dei Barbi.
During your day in the
Tuscany countryside you will also visit the very unusual town of Bagno
Vignoni, where the central piazza is a large ancient Roman swimming pool.
Although no longer in use, you can still soak your feet in the warm healing
waters that run down the hillside.
Lastly you will visit the
“jewel of the Renaissance”, Pienza. Stroll the streets of the beautiful
village famous for its architecture. You can also taste their famous cheese
(Pecorino) in the many shops that line the main street. This incredible day
